Two stunning grade II listed town houses in central London.
The buildings had already been joined to make one house but the back was a mess and the living arrangements were all over the place.
Over the course of a year and half we transformed the interior and rear of the building to create a large and luxurious single family home. We also added a sub-basement under the garden; The bay descends into the basement lightwell bringing light to the basement floor and a cohesive flow to the design of the exterior.
The conservation officer was also keen for the design to be easily reversible so it was imperative that both houses had distinctly separate rear elevations and both houses could easily become homes in their own right.
